Phew September is over and what a busy month, we got well and truely settled in our new home "Swallows Brick Barn" and had three beautiful events to work on.
On the 2nd September the Love Lane team made the journey to the beautful village of Stoke By Nayland in Suffolk, it was so hot and humid on the motorway bumping along in our big van full to brim with china and props for Debs & Garys wedding.
Debs and Gary found me through Country Homes & Interiors, it was such a huge pleasure to work with them and style their wedding. They used a fabulous village hall that had the prettiest cottage garden out the back with a patch of grass big enough for a old fashion marquee. We decked the hall with union jack bunting and created a 1940s tea dance and in the garden we had country wedding to a T ! A marquee full of china, tea pots filled with Dahlias, old bike, luggage, pretty floral bunting (antique fabrics of course!)
We started on the Friday and phew we were finally finished around 3.00 pm on the Saturday, quick change and up to see the bride emerge (sorry and groom) from the church. Debs had such great vision and ideas for her big day and had even organised the most fantastic vintage tractor and trailer to escort them back to their reception.
A great start to the month
